2015 : Vibration Analysis on the Dog Leg Subsea Pipeline due to Internal Fluid Flow

Abstract

Vibration analysis occured outside pipe and nalisis vibrasi yang terjadi akibat vortex oscillations aliran fluida di luar pipa dan flow rate fluida di dalam pipa. The two reasons behind vibration occured in a pipe are increasing flow rate and water hammer. Increasing flow rate will cause internal temperature and pressure changing. This will affecting pipe natural frequency. Natural frequency is a vibration vital component in a piping structure. Using finite element methods, modeling applied to analyse structure tension and its natural frequency. The result shows the correlation between flow vibration from inside and outside pipe, so that we can have chart for axial and transversal movement from those conditions.
