2015 : Analisa Fatigue Life Pada Bentuk Bracket Lengkung (Radiused Bracket) Topside Module FSO/FPSO

Abstract

During the operation, FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading) and FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) always receive a significant wave loads that occur continuously. It gives influence to the structural of FSO/FPSO and the components of existing on the FSO/FPSO’s deck or called topside module. The damage structure on topside module occur in the structural interface on FSO/FPSO between the hull structure and the topsides module. Therefore, the structure interface must be able to support the loads in operating condition. Fatigue life is one of the structural strength parameters for topside module interface. It is influenced by the wave loads as a cyclic load. This research will be analyzed the fatigue life of the radiused bracket connection with soft toe on the topside modules using finite element analysis.
