Abstract

Science and Technology Park (STP) is a specific area managed professionally and dedicated to research and development of science and technology. The creation of a Science and Technology Park is usually driven by the government, either the central government or regional governments. This area can increase networking and collaboration between stakeholders. The ITS Science and Technology Park is a professionally managed area with the aim of improving the welfare / economy of the surrounding community by promoting a culture of innovation and competitiveness from knowledge-based businesses and knowledge-based activities in ITS campus area. The Science and Technology Parks development is a government initiative to enhance collaboration between academics, the private sector and the government in developing innovation and science and technology in Indonesia. There are 4 industrial clusters that will be developed, namely the automotive industry, maritime, creative industry, ICT and robotics, as the priority sectors of the ITS Science and Techno Park. ITS STP functions to bridge higher education research with the industrial world. Research carried out at ITS will be developed and grown in the form of a technology-based start-up company (and spin offs). Thus, an innovation ecosystem is formed between academics, business, government and society. STP development at ITS is in accordance with STP standards. In this research, Business Model Canvas (BMC) is applied to analyze its important elements for the business of the STP. A maturity measurement approach is developed to measure the progress and maturity of the STP, and benchmarking purpose with other STPs in carrying out its function. Through the ranking, more accurate classification and information will be obtained on the conditions of STP development in ITS so that it may be used in determining further STP development and strengthening programs.
