This paper presented a method for the selection of biological processes in water and wastes treatment.
Selection method used acute toxicity tests for untreated influent and followed by detoxification level measurement.
Final chronic toxicity test was needed for treated effluent assessment. Test organisms should involve biodiversity
both for microbial process and phytoprocess. This method was able to define the appropriate biological processes
and at the same time securing the environment from the disposal of treated effluent.
