Factors causing inundation and flooding are rainfall intensity is greater than the calculation in the planning of drainage and rainfall intensity in accordance with the planning but rainwater runoff is not able to be accommodated by the existing drainage system. Spatial analysis can be used to obtain river flow patterns and areas prone to flooding. Spatial analysis is done by using multiple spatial data types, namely: remote sensing satellite imagery to map land cover and thematic maps to view the configuration of the landscape. The main objective of this study was to determine and analyze changes in river flow patterns and inundation in coastal Surabaya-Sidoarjo. These results indicate that the coastal area of the north to the border Surabaya Sidoarjo dominated by parallel flow patterns, while the coastal area of Sidoarjo more dominated by dendritic river flow patterns. The flow pattern of the river from 2009 to 2013 are relatively fixed. Based on the level of vulnerability Surabaya, Sidoarjo coastal areas highly prone to inundation class dominated. This happens because of the spread of high intensity rainfall in the area. Thus indicating that in addition to land cover, rainfall is also quite affecting the level of vulnerability to inundation. In 2009 and 2013, it is estimated that watersheet subzone Greges Jomblong and is prone to inundation because it has a value that exceeds the maximum discharge existing discharge.
